WHAT YOU’LL NEED
- A piece of furniture you want to repaint
- Clean dry cloth x 3pcs
- Mixing sticks
- Paintbrush x 2pcs
- Rust-Oleum Metallic Finish Furniture Paint – colour of your choice
- Rust-Oleum Chalky Finish Furniture Paint – colour of your choice
- Rust-Oleum Furniture Finishing Wax – clear
STEPS
- Wipe down the surface of your chosen piece of furniture with a clean dry cloth to remove any residue.
- Using a mixing stick, stir the paint well before applying.
- Apply one to two coats of Rust-Oleum Metallic Finish Furniture Paint in silver as a base coat.
- Allow the metallic base to dry completely, then stir the chalky finish paint well.
- Apply one to two coats of Rust-Oleum Chalky Finish Furniture Paint in Ink Blue or another colour of your choice, as a topcoat.
- Once completely dry, clean the detailed areas with a damp cloth to reveal patches of the metallic basecoat.
- Apply one coat of Rust-Oleum Furniture Finishing Wax in Clear with a clean dry cloth to seal and protect the painted finish.
- Buff the surface to a soft sheen with the remaining clean dry cloth. And don’t forget to pat yourself on the back!
