The charity training with disadvantaged children begins with preparing the site, where for several hours they will learn how to plaster.
Surprises have been prepared, which they will make themselves and will find out about on the last day of their training.
Protective equipment and clothing have been prepared to ensure their safety during the training.
Following the plastering training system, they will quickly learn how to plaster correctly. The goal is for them to easily find work and start making a living as skilled workers, earning good money.
Several different colors have been chosen, which will be distributed by lottery, with each child receiving a random color. The children will think it's plaster, but on the last day of the training, they will realize that it is something exceptionally beautiful, and knowing they created it, they will be more confident that they can handle anything themselves.
The children are divided into 3 teams of 2 children to work as a team.
After the walls are sanded and primed, it's time for the plaster, which we color before we start working. This process is called color coding. The material is thoroughly mixed.
Stoyan visually demonstrates to the children how to plaster, after which they will try to do it themselves. It is very important that after a tool is used, it is thoroughly cleaned. The plaster is applied with a plaster roller, then smoothed with a plastering trowel.
The teams are divided and begin work on their own, and after applying to the wall, work always starts from the corners towards the middle. It is important in the process that there are no indentations, as they cannot be corrected. While any excess, after drying, can be sanded. The ceiling is much harder to process than the wall, especially if you've never done it before.
In just 1 hour, with joint efforts and picking up tools for the first time, the children managed to process 3 entire walls. At the end of the work, it is of great importance to clean all tools, so that this does not hinder the work on the next day.
In this profession, if you do your work well and are willing to work, the labor is quite well paid, and if you have desire, you will receive good remuneration.
Starting work on the canvases assigned to each child with a different color, there is another demonstration of how to work with a trowel and spatula, and then each child makes their own canvas.
Again, the children are doing wonderfully with the task. After completing the work with the canvases, the day ends with cleaning and putting away the tools. The first day of training concludes more than successfully.
